DB Designs Southern Ltd. Terms and Conditions

  1. DB Designs Southern Ltd is not responsible for any verbal or private agreement or arrangements entered into between the sales person and the customer. Any work of specification not written on the agreement must be deemed as not being included in the contract.
  2. All materials remain the property of DB Designs Southern Ltd until we have received full payment.
  3. DB Designs Southern Ltd reserves the right to change product specification due to continuous improvement without prior notice being given to the customer.
  4. On receipt of a signed order from the customer DB Designs Southern Ltd will be entitled to recover, from the customer, the cost detailed on the order.
  5. On signing DB Designs Southern Ltd order document, if you decide that you do not wish to proceed with the work detailed on the signed order, you must notify DB Designs Southern Ltd, in writing, at 51 Bridge Street, Leatherhead, Surrey KT22 8BN, within seven days of the date of the signed order.
  6. Full settlement of the cost of the works is to be made on completion of the installation, in the event that full payment is not made within seven days, DB Designs Southern Ltd will exercise its statutory right to charge interest on the amount due at the Bank of England base rate plus 8%.
  7. Any complaint or claim by the customer must be in writing to reach us within seven days of the event, in default of which DB Designs Southern Ltd shall be under no liability thereafter. Reference by the customer to any verbal report of the event or incident will be of no consequence, neither will it be accepted as an alternative to the written report to DB Designs Southern Ltd.
  8. Subject to paragraph 2 of this agreement, DB Designs Southern Ltd undertakes to repair or replace free of charge any window, door or roofing products which proves defective as a result of faulty materials or workmanship within the guarantee (see clause 10) from the date of installation, providing such defects are notified to DB Designs Southern Ltd within that period, but no further guarantee, warranty or representation is given. This guarantee does not extend to damage or faults due to accident, misuse or neglect.
  9. During the course of the installation, DB Designs (Southern) Limited will make every effort to avoid damage to the Client’s furniture, fittings and equipment, however, the installer cannot be held responsible for damage caused by severe weather conditions.
  10. These conditions and the contract shall be subject to and construed in accordance with English law. Nothing in these terms affects the purchaser’s statutory rights under sections 13, 14 and 15 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979.
  11. All profiles are supplied with a ten year guarantee. PVC windows carry a full 10 year guarantee. Sealed units carry a 5 year guarantee and all guttering and furniture a 1 year guarantee.
  12. Guarantees are transferable.
  13. It is a statutory requirement that when new domestic windows and doors are installed the customer is offered insurance to protect them should the contractor cease to trade. Your details will be passed to our authorised insurance provider who will send you a policy certificate.
