Internal Blinds
Our integral blinds can be ordered with most of our windows and doors. They are a neat and stylish alternative to curtains, external blinds and other window dressings for your home or business. Choose from Venetian or pleated blinds which are sealed inside the double-glazed unit, meaning they won’t get damaged and will never need cleaning.
Adding a stylish finishing touch to your room, integral blinds in glass are perfect for controlling room temperature, maintaining privacy and protecting your furniture from fading. They give you the ultimate in protection from the heat and glare of the sun whilst remaining dust and dirt-free – forever. They are also available in triple glazed sealed units.
They are also the only practical solution for sliding patio doors, French doors and bifold doors, as they don’t interfere with the opening mechanism and sit neatly inside the panes of glass.
Internal blinds are available in window or door in sizes from 300mm to 2600mm wide and in any frame – timber, aluminium or uPVC. We and can even retrofit them into your existing doors and windows.
The sealed double or triple-glazed units are Argon filled and feature a double seal which helps guarantee the quality and energy performance of your windows and doors, long term. Two seals mean extra protection – giving you peace of mind that you won’t have problems in the future. The secondary seal also gives the insulated glass unit (IGU or sealed unit) its structural strength, ensuring there is no chance of movement once installed. This is especially important in larger sealed units used in patio and bi-fold doors.

Depending on the colour of your blinds and whether they’re Venetian or pleated in design, integral blinds can keep out up to 70% of heat in the summer (solar reflection), keep out up to 78% of sunlight (light reflection) and absorb up to 88% of the sun’s heat (solar absorption) – creating a more comfortable home.
- Totally hygienic – because they are sealed inside the glazing, integral blinds are dust and dirt free which makes them more hygienic than traditional blinds and other window dressings. Integral blinds are often used in hospital and schools because they do not require cleaning and are hygienic. Plus, the SV system is operated using an external magnetic slider which is treated with the Sanitized® patented antibacterial finish, for long-lasting protection.
- Child friendly – children can very easily pull the cords or put their fingers inside traditional Venetian blinds and cause damage or potentially hurt themselves. Integral blinds are child friendly as they are safely positioned inside the double-glazed unit. Our C System is operated by a continuous cord loop which is held lightly under tension by a cord tensioner which fully complies with Make it Safe, a campaign from the British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA) to promote window blind safety in all homes, public buildings and other environments where babies and young children may be present.
